Born in Moscow and raised in the UK, London-based Sasha A. Dulerayn is a Russian-British award-winning filmmaker, director, and co-founder of Bacchae Productions. His practice spans film, theatre, and video art, from early work at the Electrotheatre Stanislavsky to his debut feature, Tummyache, which has earned over a dozen international festival awards and featured music by TAAHLIAH, Sexy Sushi and Famous.

Recent screen projects include the Grand Rapids award-winning music video Witching Hour and the short film Conflict, which screened at Central Florida, Topanga, and the San Francisco Independent Film Festival. He holds a BA in Philosophy from University College London and is currently completing an MA in Filmmaking at London Film School. He recently represented the school at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and is currently working on Plov, his graduation project produced by Ishan Sanjay Deshpande (Bearcave).

His previous collaborators include Magda Kowalczyk (Cow), Reza Diako (The Covenant, The Diplomat), Jörg Gruber (DAU), Gilles Guillain (Brief Crossing) and Georgia Lock (Sadie J, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder).
